Antwort: Es ist an sich zulässig.

Question: If I get to know a woman over the Internet with the intention to marry, is it a general requirement that the parents of the woman know that we have contact through the Internet?

Answer: It is not necessary that they should know about it but if there is such a fear that they might fall into a sin, it is not permissible to engage in discussion.

Frage: Wenn ich eine Frau über das Internet kennenlerne, ist es dann eine allgemeine Pflicht das die Eltern der Frau wissen das wir Kontakt haben?

Antwort: Es ist nicht notwendig, dass sie es wissen sollten, aber wenn man befürchtet eine Sünde zu begehen, ist es nicht zulässig!
