An Alawite girl wrote: To the killer of my family... I invite you to stay with us for one month. I will cook for you my mother and brothers' favorite food. I will try hard to make my food taste like my mother's, even though there's no food that tastes as good as hers. I will let my little girls tell you about their uncles and the games they invented together and the amount of love they showered on them. I will let you read my brother's memoirs, which he began writing at the age of 12, so you can understand the difficulties he faced throughout his life and the injustice and oppression he was subjected to. If you can't read, I will read them to you. We will drink coffee in the morning on the balcony of my parents' house, play Fairuz songs, and greet the neighbors who are still there. I will tell you how my brothers grew up, tell you about their jokes and how they lived. I will tell you everything that happened to them. I will send you to their work in the morning so you can return exhausted in the evening and sleep on the same sofa where Fares used to fall asleep after a long day. I will let you meet their friends and acquaintances so they can tell you about the good they did. They lived in them and lavished it on everyone around them. We will watch their videos together as they joke with me. You will see their faces and words and hear their voices every day, just as I do until now. You will laugh with us, I promise. I will make you a hookah and mate, and we will sit outside by the lemon tree my grandfather planted and listen to Umm Kulthum in the evening. The neighbors will pass by, some of them will greet us, and some will sit with us and laugh with us. You will water the flowers my mother planted. How much she loved them. And if you get sick, we will all sit by your side, take care of you, and try to make you laugh a little. I will let you sit opposite my father's bed, just as my brothers took turns sitting there when he was sick for more than a month. I will let you know from my daughters how he passed away while praying for his sons' success and contentment. You can pray in my father's room, just as my father used to pray, and my daughters will stand beside him, imitating him. They may imitate you too, out of love for learning, so don't get angry with them. We will tell you about our kind neighbors who passed away with my family. I won't wake you up at night, despite my constant crying spells, I won't let you see my tears. But I might demand you to tell me how my family's last moments were. Did my mother beg you not to kill her children? Did the bullet that pierced my brother Fares's abdomen kill him instantly, or did he remain beside his mother's body and his brother's body in agony until he surrendered his soul to God? These are the questions that still kill my heart to this day. I will let you live among us, perhaps the love that fills my family's home will creep into your heart a little. Perhaps you will rejoice like us, cry like us, and grieve for what you committed in a moment of arrogance and hatred. I won't blame you, nor will I hate you. I will only give you the same love I gave my brothers and mother, and which they gave me. And at the end of the month, I will let you try to wipe away their blood that refuses to be wiped away from the living room floor, the same living room where we laughed, cried, and lived. Perhaps it will be wiped away by your hands.

Official Statement by Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal President of the Supreme Alawite Islamic Council in Syria and the Diaspora April 9, 2025 In an official statement issued today, Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal called on the international community to take urgent action in response to the escalating violence targeting innocent civilians in Syria. The statement includes the following key demands: International protection for vulnerable communities under threat The formation of an independent investigation committee to uncover the truth behind recent massacres and human rights violations An immediate and active role for international humanitarian organizations to provide relief and monitoring on the ground He emphasized the ongoing humanitarian crisis: Killings, kidnappings, and brutal mutilation of bodies are still occurring. Thousands of detainees and soldiers remain missing, their fates unknown. Members of the Alawite community are being targeted economically—simply because they reject extremist ideology. Important points from the speech: “Our situation is like that of many other communities—Alawites, Kurds, Druze, Christians, and others—who call for peace, love, coexistence, partnership, and democracy. We appeal to the conscience of humanity to stop this brutality and confront the monsters who believe they can carry out massacres and erase entire identities.” “We must all stand against their ideology of slaughter and their so-called laws that justify bloodshed. Their goal is to silence and erase, but their crimes are now known to the whole world.” “Their desperate attempts to break our unity, divide our people, and shatter our voice will never change the truth—the world sees them clearly for what they are.”

Disappearance of Majd Ali Makhlouf Majd Ali Makhlouf, a Syrian Alawite farmer from Bustan al-Basha, was forcibly detained by security forces in Latakia on March 9th while walking on the street. His only known "offense," according to security officials, was the use of the Internet. Majd, who never served in the military due to being an only son, was reportedly accused of contacting al-fullul—a vague and sweeping term now commonly used to label supposed sympathizers of the "old regime." When his mother inquired about his whereabouts, she was told that a Sheikh from Idlib would be brought in to determine his fate, an alarming indication of the arbitrary and extrajudicial nature of his detention.

The killings on the Syrian coast have not only not stopped but have increased. Despite the decrease in videos due to the new ‘no signature’ policy of the terrorists, the number of missing persons continues to show the upward trend of their crimes. These crimes have also increased in Homs and Hama, where Christians are also suffering from the violence of the new security forces and uncontrolled terrorist groups. Even Sunnis are not spared from abuses despite their religion, although the number of cases is lower. Women, children, youth, adults and the elderly are all victims of these crimes without distinction. Recently the Chairman of Alawi Islamic Council Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal again called for international protection for the inhabitants of the coast, which has brought numerous threats even to a person of his own prominence. On the other hand, the recent interview with Muhammad Jabir, former leader of the Suqūr al-Sahra militia, has admitted to funding anti-terrorist insurgent groups. This is important, as Jabir spoke of acting against massacres on the coast, which confirms the identity trend that the insurgency is assimilating. The label ‘Assadist’ has lost its value and is only used as a means to discredit any opposition to Jolani and the terrorists. Instead, we can speak of an ‘Alawite’ insurgency and what it entails, a struggle for existence.

Al-Qardaha Hospital Looted, Alawite Staff Dismissed The Al-Qardaha Hospital has been looted by armed groups, who reportedly stole all its contents—including furniture—and transported them to Idlib. According to local sources, the operation was carried out by extremists from several provinces and aimed at targeting Alawite communities. There was no intervention to stop the theft, and the militants received logistical support to carry out the looting. All Alawite employees at the hospital were dismissed, effectively shutting it down. Similar incidents have reportedly occurred in other coastal hospitals

So Far ive seen 4 confirmed other instances of this happening all over the country, if we can’t die in peace, how can we live in it?

#DANGER alert around the world. A state of emergency has been declared in Syria. A school teacher who once taught human and civic education, duties, and rights... After the arrival of al-Julani, members of society have turned into extremists and jihadists, not only against humanity and lacking humanity, but their extremism has even reached the beautiful domesticated animals. He calls out in a loud voice, and the children repeat after him, "We will hang them like a cat," and the second, "We will burn them with fire." This has become the educational charter in the new Syria. The United Nations must intervene quickly and immediately. Children are in danger. Humanity is in danger. #Cats and dogs are also in danger. They will all be hanged and burned in light of this international absence...
