Wartezeit bei der Zeitehe ohne Geschlechtsverkehr

Frage: Wenn ein Mann und eine Frau Zeitehe schließen, sie jedoch keinen Geschlechtsverkehr hatten, muss die Frau dann trotzdem drei Monaten warten, bis sie die nächste Zeitehe schließen darf?

 

Antwort: "Bei dieser Situation ist es nicht erforderlich die Zeitperiode ('iddah) abzuwarten. Siehe Anhang

Anhang:

 

'Iddah is a period of time – after termination of marriage – during which the woman cannot marry another man. It is incumbent upon the woman to observe 'iddah in case:

 

- she has finished the age of nine;

 

- she has not reached the shar'Ä« menopause; and

 

- her husband has had sex with her.

 

'Iddah of Temporary Marriage:

• If the woman is pregnant, she has to wait until the birth of the child,
  
• If the woman is not pregnant, she menstruates, and the marriage is consummated, then after the end of the marriage term or after he grants her the remaining time of the marriage she has to see two periods and after she becomes pure form her second period, she finishes her 'iddah.
  
• If she is not pregnant and has not reached the shar'Ä« menopause either yet she does not menstruate, she has to observe 'iddah of forty five days.
